50 Cent has declared that he will only travel by own aircraft because he is worried about airline safety.

His admission follows Boeing being cоmpelled to refute a story claiming that a number of their aircraft would blоw up.

50 said on Instagram, sharing a screenshot of the report: “Ok, I’m only flying private, fucƙ this, I can’t go out like that.”

The Daily Mail claims that electrostatic discharge, a potentially lethal electrical defect, can cause the wings of Boeing’s 777 aircraft to catch fire.

Although the FAA had earlier denied issuing the order, it has reportedly recommended Boeing to spend close to $700,000 to resolve the issue.

Boeing has strongly refuted the report’s findings, claiming that it is “misleading and reckless.” It sensationalizes the usual regulatory procedure that has contributed to making air travel the safest mode of transportation and makes false linkages. This does not immediately pose a threаt to flight safety.

“Modern commercial airplanes are designed with multiple redundancies to ensure protection against electromagnetic effects,” they continued. During the course of its nearly 30-year existence, the 777 fleet has safely transported over 3.9 billiоn people.

Hip-hop artist 50 Cent wouldn’t be the first to adopt private aviation. Notably, Drake and Rick Ross each have a private jet that they have customized to advertise their brands.

Drizzy has already faced backlash for using a private jet due to environmental concerns.

He and several other celebrities, including Mark Wahlberg and Kim Kardashian, were chastised in a 2022 report for taking extremely short flights. However, Drake refuted the allegations, saying, “This is just them moving planes to whatever airport they are being stored at for anyone who was interested in the logistics.” That flight is never taken.

The Toronto rapper’s private aircraft is said to be valued at $200 million and is furnished more like a five-star hotel than a jet.

The outside of the Boeing 767 aircraft is emblazoned with Drake’s OVO owl emblem, and it seats over thirty passengers with amenities including velvet sofas, huge leather chairs, and a widescreen television.
